In 2017, my dad was diagnosed with stomach cancer. He was 50. No major health history. By September 2018 he had passed.

We did everything the system told us to do. He did chemotherapy. Surgery. Feeding tubes. He fought through all of it. The system ran its protocol. He didn't make it.

I'm not telling you this to be emotional about it. I'm telling you because watching that process is what made me understand what medicine actually does — and what it doesn't.

"It responds to disease. It does not build health. Those are two completely different functions, and the system is only designed to do one of them."

That's the whole reason this practice exists.

How I Practice

PT redefined.
No shortcuts.

01

Cash-pay. Always.

No insurance. No productivity quotas. No 20-minute slots. One-on-one, full session, every time. The FLC is 75 minutes because a real evaluation takes that long.

02

Functional Dry Needling

Certified. Used as a clinical tool inside a broader treatment plan — not a standalone service, not a premium upsell.

03

Bilingual — English & Spanish

Language access in healthcare isn't a feature. Si prefiere español, aquí estamos.

04

Telehealth, statewide

Same clinical rigor. No commute required.

What I Actually Believe

Most chronic problems aren't random.
They're the result of how people are living.

The American healthcare system is very good at acute care. It is structurally and financially unprepared to build long-term health — because managing chronic disease indefinitely is the most profitable segment of the industry. Reversing it isn't reimbursable.

That's not cynicism. It's the business model.

This practice operates outside that model on purpose — using the system for what it does well, building what it won't.

Most chronic problems aren't bad luck. They're the result of how people are living. And that means they're changeable. That's what the work is.

This practice also extends free PT to people who can't afford it. Not as a program. As a standard operating procedure.

The Foundation

The Functional Longevity Model

The clinical and philosophical framework behind every evaluation, every consulting session, and every care plan in this practice. Four pillars. One foundation. Built for the long term.

01

Movement

Train, load, and build capacity with intention and science. Strength and VO₂max are your most powerful longevity biomarkers — not cholesterol, not blood pressure.

02

Nutrition

Create the internal environment that supports healing and performance. Food is not fuel — it is the chemical environment your body heals in.

03

Recovery

Convert training stress into adaptation through sleep and deliberate restoration. Without recovery, there is no progress — only accumulated load.

04

Community

Build the social environment that sustains everything else. Social isolation carries the mortality risk of smoking 15 cigarettes a day. Environment shapes identity. Identity shapes behavior.
