Functional Longevity
Consultation

FLC — Initial Session

A 75-minute one-on-one clinical consultation via telehealth. The entry point to the Functional Longevity Clinic — a comprehensive assessment of where you are, where you want to go, and what's in the way. Conducted by Dr. O over Google Meet from anywhere in Wisconsin.

You leave with a written clinical plan built from your data — movement capacity, recovery patterns, nutritional environment, and lifestyle architecture. Not a template. A roadmap specific to you, grounded in the Functional Longevity Model.

What the initial session covers

  • Movement quality, functional capacity, and training history review
  • Strength, mobility, and performance benchmarks against FLM standards
  • Sleep architecture, recovery systems, and stress physiology
  • Nutritional environment and metabolic lifestyle review
  • LMN issued at no additional charge when clinically indicated
  • Written clinical plan delivered at end of session

Follow-up sessions are for established FLC patients. Initial session required before scheduling a follow-up.

FLC — Follow-Up Sessions

Ongoing telehealth visits for patients actively working their Functional Longevity plan. Each 45-minute session reviews progress across the four pillars, adjusts programming based on your current data, and builds on the framework from your initial consultation.

Follow-ups are structured clinical sessions — not check-ins. Progress assessed, plan updated, next phase defined. Most patients schedule monthly or bimonthly depending on goals and phase of care.

  • Pillar-by-pillar progress review against your clinical plan
  • Programming updates for movement, recovery, and nutrition
  • Goal tracking and benchmark reassessment as needed
  • LMN renewal review (annually with clinical re-evaluation)
  • Email support between sessions included

Functional
Dry Needling

What is Functional Dry Needling?

Functional dry needling uses thin monofilament needles to target trigger points within muscles — reducing pain, restoring muscle activation, and improving range of motion at the tissue level. It is not acupuncture. It is a clinical tool used by Dr. O as part of a larger treatment plan.

Dry needling is effective for chronic muscle pain, movement restrictions, post-injury recovery, and performance-limiting tightness. It is always administered alongside a clinical assessment — not as a standalone service.

  • Targets trigger points, muscle dysfunction, and neuromuscular inhibition
  • Used inside a broader clinical plan — never a one-off treatment
  • Eval + Treatment and Follow-Up sessions available
  • HSA / FSA accepted · Cash-pay only

Letter of Medical
Necessity (LMN)

Most people don't know their gym membership, fitness equipment, personal trainer, or nutrition coach can be paid with pre-tax dollars — if a licensed clinician documents the medical necessity. That's exactly what this letter does.

Dr. O conducts a 30-minute virtual consultation, evaluates your clinical picture, and writes a signed Letter of Medical Necessity. You receive a PDF within 48 hours, ready to submit to your HSA or FSA administrator.
